Mzuguno David

Born in the rural village of Gonja Bombo, Northern Tanzania. During his lifetime, he was considered as one of the leading Tanzanian artists of the "tingatinga" direction, which arose in the 60s of the 20th century in Tanzania. Since 1967 he had lived and worked in Dar es Salaam. Mzuguno died in June 2010 and his exhibitions had been shown in Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Brussels, Japan, South Korea and China.
